Additional Shop Rat Programs being held this Spring

Along with the current Shop Rat Classes being held at Peak Manufacturing and Classic Turning, Advance Turning of Jackson Michigan, will be joining the team and will be providing Shop Rat Classes out of their facility this Spring. The Shop Rat Foundation is accepting applications for students to enroll in classes at Advance Turning where students will be building wheelie cars to compete in the first annual Shop Rat Wheelie Car Competition in June. Students can sign up the Shop Rat website. Here at the Shop Rat Foundation we want to tap into the most precious resource that we have, our youth. Students will be learning about alternative energy along with many other very important concepts to educate the next generation of Shop Rats! Classes at Advance Turning are tentatively planned for Wednesday nights. Start date is yet to be determined, but planned for the February/March time frame. Classes will run for the time necessary to complete the Wheelie Car project, estimated for 4-8 weeks. Stay tuned for more details.
